This 223 acre site at Little Bay was selected for the ‘New Capital Town and Administrative Centre’ for the island of Montserrat. In 2008, EA were commissioned to develop and produce a Phase 1 masterplan and design guidance & development control documents for the various development plots on the site to aid the controlled and integrated development of the site over the next 10 to 15 years. In December 2009 the EA director presented the finalized masterplan and documents to the CEO of the Montserrat Development Corporation and The Chief Minister of Montserrat at an ‘open house’ consultation event, also attended by the public and various other government authorities, for which 9 display panels and a 3D fly-round were prepared in-house.
